This is a wonderful place to receive acupuncture. Andre provides a thorough assessment of your concerns and treats the whole person, not just the area that you came in to address. He has been performing this work for a long time and has extensive training, which makes me feel comfortable having treatments with him. When a new issues comes up that I want to treat, I have seen a lot of improvement after just one or two sessions. The office is bright, extremely clean and has a good energy. Ilona, who helps manage the office, is also helpful and friendly. This is a great place to visit for those already comfortable with this type of medicine and any newcomers to acupuncture. I highly recommend the business!

Andre is one of the best practitioners I’ve ever been to. I have a hamstring injury and he spends the time and has the knowledge to target the problem and identify a healing strategy. Even after one treatment, I saw an improvement.

The acupuncture services that Dr. Andre provides are remarkable! In the beginning of summer I fell down a volcano in Sicily, Italy which left my legs badly scrapped and burned from the impact. Dr. Andre was able to start needling on my legs right away and by the end of the summer we saw huge advances in the skin healing and no longer being concaved. Although there is still a mark on my leg it is tremendously better and is believed to be fully healed over time. I highly recommend Dr. Andre for acupuncture!

Ive recently had an acute sciatica pain -- really bad, couldnt tighten my shoelaces; even to get up from bed was a struggle for me. Im so happy and relieved that everything is history now, thanks to Andre. I first started seeing Andre after my neighbor had highly recommended him. My doctor had decided that I needed a multiple myomectomy for uterine fibroids. Ive been seeing Andre for over five years. There isnt a problem Ive had that he hasnt solved. After I had radiation for prostate cancer, Andre conducted a method of treatment to prevent a recurrence. Three years have passed and no recurrence. The oncologist asked me, Is there something you do on your own to keep it from recurring ? I replied Yes, I have a great acupuncturist! . Andre also has successfully treated me for dizziness and painful swelling in my feet. He is extremely thorough and his treatment is geared very specifically and precisely to the individual patient. I had an issue of my right knee and leg from skiing accident (falling down from the steep hill ) I could not walk comfortably and when I bended my knee, it was so painful. I got a hard time walking especially on the stair.But I knew for sure that my knee was not broken due to I still be able to walk . I’ve heard my uncle talking good things about acupuncture.I was very skeptical about it . After the first time treatment with Andre , I was so amazed.Guys I can run , and using stair . I can walk normal like nothing happened to my leg and knees before . I used to get really hurt when I rotated my knee to the left side. Now I just have a little bit of pain. Ive been struggling with a sleeping disorder for years, but more recently struggled with more severe insomnia for several weeks after I said goodbye to my dog in early December.Ive been going to Dr. Andre for almost two months after I realized I wanted to try acupuncture. I started seeing Andrey after getting an abnormal result on a routine pap smear. There isnt too much conventional medicine can do but wait and see. Andre Yershov is a trained physician with very deep knowledge of Chinese medicine. Initially, I suffered from chronic neck and lower back pain from working long hours at the computer. I was first introduced to Medicine of Changes a practice of acupuncture around two years ago with no actual belief in the practice and never having experienced actual acupuncture and herbal treatments. The experience was very enlightening and it had drawn light onto many other alternatives to western medicine. During my trip to NYC I started to have a severe pain in my back and hip, radiating to my left foot. The place is small but very nice and relaxing. The treatment took about 1hr-1hr 20 min. I had about 8 or 9 needles inserted all together. Dr Yershov is the real deal. I showed up skeptical, but willing because of the glowing recommendations from my wife & one of her mentors. This was my experience:I sat down in the room & he began asking me questions about my back pain & skin condition that I was trying to manage on my own. I resisted the urge to be guarded & disclosed as much personal information and habits as I could remember at the moment so he could have the fullest understanding of my situation. The Dr listened DEEPLY and was able to recall and use details from that information casually during the conversation that followed.Dr Y was treating sciatica Id developed from walking badly while healing my broken foot 3 months prior. AT his request, I did some movements to show my range of motion & other general probing to see where my pain was exactly. He asked me to sit in a chair & he placed mini (1mm) studs ON, not IN the acupressure points in my ear. Then the Dr inserted a needle in my hand. He told me to move w/some general instructions & left the room. some about THIS needle and THAT point .. within about 5 minutes, I could do a standing forward bend and put my hands on the floor (while the needle was still in). Im flexible, but that was EXTRAORDINARY considering the pain I was in.Dr Y instructed me to lay on the table & he took me through some physical therapy-type exercises (mild stretches & light calisthenics) to wake up my lower back. In both cases (seated and prone), I was aware of his deep listening and sensitivity as he checked my pulses and determined where exactly to put the needles. Then he inserted needles in several paces in my hands, legs & feet. When he finished, I was instructed to stay there & wiggle periodically (I think this was specific to MY sciatica treatment LOL). I focused on my breathing whenever I could remember to & spaced out there on the table for about a half hour, pleased with myself for seeking medical attention (ie LISTENING TO MY WIFE) rather than white knuckling through pain and discomfort as i usually do.When I got up, I still felt discomfort in my back, but it was MUCH less. The Dr and I talked about stages of healing & other PT Id need to do to correct my back as well as return visits. We finished the visit with a TCM discussion about a skin condition that Ive had for decades. As an active martial artist and casual nerd for TCM and Chinese mysticism, I knew all the words and terminology he was using, but not how to understand them relative to my case. Dr Y was clear and concise with his language, able to explain TCM concepts in ways that made sense to me and helped me to understand something Ive been missing for the greater part of my life through this TCM lens. Considering the discomfort Ive been in, having a man of his obvious skills take the time to walk me through his diagnosis/what it meant for ME after already spending over an hour needling me as a walk in set him apart in my eyes & it meant a lot.Ive been to many acupuncturists prior to Dr Y & either 1) they were frauds 2) totally inexperienced or 3) Dr Yershov is ON. ANOTHER. LEVEL. From his knowledge base to his sensitivity to his results to his ability to communicate complex subjects so lay people can understand, Dr Yershov truly surpassed all of my expectations. Our daughter was in and out of the hospital with long term covid symptom’s September- January. The doctors could not help us and said to wait it out.After two weeks into a 30 Chinese herb treatment she has not been in the hospital and all symptoms are GONE.
